Keep your pralines in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, sources of heat and strong aromas. Leave them in their original packaging until you are ready to enjoy them; the box is designed to protect the pralines from light, movement and changes in their surroundings.
Once opened, close the box again carefully and keep it somewhere stable. Avoid repeatedly moving the pralines between warmer and cooler environments.
For their fullest texture and aroma, allow the closed box to rest at a comfortable room temperature before serving. This gives the chocolate shell and date centre time to settle naturally before the box is opened.
Handle each praline gently and serve them shortly before they are to be enjoyed. A few quiet moments at room temperature are often all they need.
Pralines respond best to a stable environment. Avoid sudden changes in temperature, prolonged warmth and places where the box may heat and cool repeatedly, such as beside a window or other direct source of heat.
If the pralines have been kept somewhere cooler, leave the box closed while it returns gradually to room temperature. Opening it too soon can encourage condensation on the chocolate.
Once your order arrives, remove it from its delivery packaging and place the box somewhere cool, dry and away from direct sunlight. If the parcel feels unusually warm or cold, allow the closed box to settle before opening it.
If the packaging has been damaged in transit, or anything about the condition of the pralines concerns you, contact the Atelier before serving them.
Enjoyed as intended
A few simple considerations preserve the texture, aroma and finish of each praline.
